"Hoping to escape the heat of January in western NSW , my husband and I ventured to the northern tablelands for a short break and discovered Dorrigo .  A quaint country town on the escarpment above Coffs Harbour.

Dorrigo is a peaceful place set amid rolling green countryside, with a heritage listed national park on its doorstep.  What made our stay so enjoyable was the accommodation.  MossGrove Bed and Breakfast is a beautifully restored Federation farmhouse surrounded by hectares of lovingly tendered gardens about eight kilometres out of town.  The owners, Sue and John Eastment, have thought of everything to ensure that guests enjoy their stay."

When we arrived Sue served a sumptuous home-made afternoon tea, which ensured we felt guilty enough afterwards to take a walk in the national park.

The local restaurant and pub are a short drive away.  But if, like us, you just want to unwind, you can have a gormet dinner on the veranda at MossGrove, watching dusk settle ofer the landscape before retiring to the welcoming fire inside.  A fire in summer is unheard of in uor part of the world, but on a cool January night in Dorrigo it was perfect."
