Experiencing Mossgrove B&B
Having returned to the heat of Grafton our stay at Mossgrove Bed and Breakfast has been filling my mind with images of beauty, opulence and the peace and quiet you only get in the country.
Having been enduring the heat in Grafton a stay at Mossgrove Bed and Breakfast provided a welcome change of climate and scenery. The green paddocks surrounding Mossgrove are framed by views from the amazing gardens - created by John and Sue over the last 10 years.
Walking the gardens of Mossgrove we were presented with an abundance of amazing vistas. The resident chickens periodically made an appearance and Jess the Border Collie was a constant companion. These beautiful sites were ours to enjoy from the private balcony off the guest lounge and as views from the beautifully appointed bedrooms.
Beautiful Linen and furnishings in the guest bedrooms added a touch of luxury and I awoke every morning feeling refreshed and revitalised. You can’t help but feel relaxed in the tranquil surrounds of the beautifully restored federation house and the country charm Dorrigo provides. After a day exploring the wonders of Dorrigo with its majestic waterfalls and amazing National Park View at the skywalk, Mossgrove beckoned us back with amazing afternoon tea provided by John and Sue.
The Bonsai gallery was amazing to explore and every time I ventured into the gardens there was a new view to inspire and photo opportunities of the gardens abounded.
The breakfast provided by John and Sue was simply amazing and was the best way to start the day, Eggs Benedict made with the finest eggs, those from their very own chickens that roam the gardens of Mossgrove.
The entire experience made such an impression that I have been thinking of it ever since returning to "real life". Views, tranquility, luxury, delicious food and an experience fueled by country hospitality combine to make our stay at Mossgrove Bed and Breakfast the best way we could have chosen to spend our holidays.
